Innova Italia collects information on how users use the site.

Type of data processed

The computer systems and software procedures, used to operate the site, acquire some personal data, whose transmission is implicit for the Internet communication protocols during their normal operations.

This information is not collected for the purpose of identifying users. However, such information could nonetheless be processed and associated to third-party data that could identify users.

This category of data includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by the users who access the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the user’s operating system and IT environment.

Such data is only used to collect statistical and anonymous information on how the site is used to make sure it is working properly and it is deleted as soon as it has been processed. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: apart from this eventuality, the web contact data is not currently kept for more than seven days.

Log files

The log file servers allow us to record how users use the site. Innova Italia collects such information for all users and uses it to apply changes to the layout and contents of its site, based on how users have visited it. The log files contain personal data.

The processing of the data connected to this site occurs at our headquarters and it is handled by the technical personnel of the Division in charge of data processing, or by those who are occasionally assigned to carry out the maintenance operations. None of the data deriving from the web service is communicated or disclosed to thirds. The personal data provided by the users who have requested the dispatching of informative material (bulletins, CD-ROMs, catalogs, price lists, answers to questions, various documents, etc.) is only used for the purpose of providing the service or operation requested.

The data provided voluntarily by users

The optional, explicit and voluntary submission of emails to the addresses listed on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is needed to respond to the request, and any other personal data included in the message.

Specific summary information will progressively be reported or displayed on the web pages for the specific services requested.

Optional submission of data

Apart from what is specified for the navigation data, the user is free to decide whether or not to provide his personal data. The lack of such data could make it impossible to fulfill the request.

Processing methods

The personal data is processed with automated tools and only for the time needed to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. Specific safety measures are taken to prevent the loss of data, but also to govern illicit, improper and unauthorized use or access.

Rights of users
